Target Bird Species

We selected a few bird species from the european Farmland Bird Index (FBI) to begin with. The choice is based on the abundance in our test areas. Additionally we wanted to cover as diverse habitats as possible. These are the first species for which BirdWatch will generate results:

Eurasian Skylark (Alauda arvensis)
Yellowhammer (Emberiza citrinella)
Barn Swallow (Hirundo rustica)
Red-backed shrike (Lanius collurio)
Black-tailed godwit (Limosa limosa)
Eurasian tree sparrow (Passer montanus)
Northern Lapwing (Vanellus Vanellus)
